I co-led the product design team with Asha Bhakta for the Toyota/Lexus Newsroom accessibility initiative, focusing on making the platforms inclusive for all users. We conducted extensive research into WCAG 2.1 and ADA guidelines, attended webinars, consulted accessibility experts, and curated resources to ensure best practices.

Project 2 - Bio Page Reskin

After Toyota's recent executive announcement, the client asked us to reskin the Toyota Newsroom Executive Bios page. The goal was to create an engaging page that aligned with Toyota's new branding and executive structure.

1. Accessibility Evaluation:

Throughout our audit process, we conducted a meticulous evaluation of the platforms across various devices including mobile, tablet, and desktop. Leveraging automated scanning tools, we extensively analyzed essential components such as text, appearance, videos, animations, audio, and images. This comprehensive assessment allowed us to identify potential accessibility issues and gaps that needed to be addressed.

2. Redesigning the Solution:

I integrate inclusive design principles from the research and audit stage to ensure accessibility is implemented across throughout the entire design process by focusing on universal usability.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

Every week Asha and I lead check-in client meeting with Developers, Account Mangers, and Creative Director to discuss accessibility findings and provide solutions.
